Leones Gelato Nordbahnhof

design for an ice cream parlour, 2019 – ongoing

The minimalistic interior design concept of the fourth Leones Gelato parlour is defined by clean lines and reduced material choices: Wood, concrete, metal. Table, bench and counter appear as one continuous piece, altering in direction, height and width while winding through the room. In line with the formal identity of previous stores, a long, straight counter, covered by vertical wooden lamellae will be the central part of the sculpture. While the ice cream containers with their characteristic ”Pozzetti“ find their place on one side, the other side of the counter can – according to the given needs – be used as a bar or serve as additional table space.
